HOW DID I START MY NEW NETWORKING CAREER?
It all happened one day, when I came a cross a friend who I haven't seen in a few years and after exchanging hugs, we started chatting about life, family, marriage, work, ect. I was very happy to see him doing so well, he was successful in life. He had an amazing family, had money and just sounded like he was going all over the world with his family, so I asked him. How can you make the time to do all this, sure you make money but surly your career requires you to put in a lot of time at work. He laughed a little and said
" Brother, you have no idea what I do now, I work part time and earn in a month, what I used to earn in 12 MONTH"
That blew my mind away.
He pretty much explained how he got into networking and MLM, how it is structured and how it all works. In the beginning I was telling him, but aren't these things scams ?? Now he really laughed at me and said scams ? who are you kidding ? look at your financial situation and look at mine. That really said it all, but he went on.. He said " You work more then 60 hours a week, barley see your family, barley take them any where, you work hard and get paid little, while I work maybe 15 hours a week, see my family as often as possible, been to almost 40 countries and make in 2 month what you make in a year. Then he said
"it sounds to me like you are the one getting scammed"
He assured me though that some companies are scams, but not all. If you know what to look for in a company before joining, you can easily tell which is legitimate and which is a scam.
He was making perfect sense since all my efforts have proven that I was just paying the bills month to month and had little savings, I was always tired and felt like there was no way out. So I said" well for sure you must have worked hard at some point of another to generate your residual income" He replied "sure did, I worked very hard actually for the first two years and after that my network started producing, because in my business there is no such thing as selfishness.
To succeed in networking, you must help others succeed as well. You must train people and coach them on how to improve their life's and when they succeed, you will succeed"
My first obstacle getting into network was the fact I was terrible in sales and didn't feel comfortable talking to people. My mentor told me boldly that to change you have to do different things, you have to get out of your comfort zone. Do you believe in what you are doing ? then you must push for what you believe and that is not only life changing, but takes you out of your comfort zone and pushes you towards all of what life has to offer.

Things are making more sense and as I was thinking along on how Ive been throwing away my time, for minimal payout and that I was working against the notion of financial freedom in my life. I tried to see my life through his world and experiences, I got super excited, told him whatever you are doing to fill me in and I was ready to start ASAP. We agreed to meet later on in the day because he had to take his family out to eat and he doesn't cancel family appointments.
I respect that greatly and asked him to please not to be late since I'm already way over excited about his new life style and as I waited for the time to come, my brain was racing a million miles an hour for all the potential things I will do with my extra free time, where I want to take my family and how I will spend my money.
When we met up, he took out his laptop and started going over everything he was doing. He shared everything with me, from the first week, to the first year, to how he became what he was and how he was earning what he was earning. I got hesitant a bit when he mentioned the initial investment, then he looked at me with a smirk and said " bro, you work in construction. You take projects all the time and you initial investments in those projects literally can be 100x greater then what I'm investing and like a light bulb going off in my head I though
" Wow, he is 100% right".
Then he said "Don't ever believe anyone telling you, you will make money with out any investment because they are lying to you".
You invest money to go to work, eat, drive, insurance, etc. loose precious time, limiting your earnings. Why not invest in yourself and become your own boss ?
Since my friend was living the life I always wanted, I had to follow in his footsteps and take his advice and not for one second did I think he was trying to scam me, I wouldn't insult our friendship like that. I simply asked him to help me and guide me in this transition. When he heard I was ready to sign up with him, he was very excited. I think it was obvious way more excited then me because he knew the potential I had and told me "Bro I won't guarantee you the same results, but I know you and you are a hard worker, smart, learn quickly and you are honest. Our company is perfect for you".
